Vegetarian Restaurants in Perth you NEED to visit!

We took the time to find the very best Vegetarian Restaurants in Perth that will seriously satisfy your cravings. Don’t get all smug vegetarian on us, but these dishes are so good even your meat eating friends will be impressed!

MANNA WHOLEFOODS AND CAFÉ

Word on the street is that Manna is worth the trip to South Freo for their ultimate grilled cheese sandwiches alone! Think sweet potato, vegan mayo, caramelized onion and spinach topped with goey vegan cheese. The café also offers a vegetarian moussaka made from lentils with cheesy tofu topping… And we haven’t even addressed the wholefoods section yet! Beware… It’s an easy place to spend plenty of money on gourmet groceries and products.

BIB AND TUCKER

If you’re in the mood for pizza, head to Bib and Tucker to enjoy some mouth-watering vegetarian combinations. Every pizza on the menu sounds delicious, but the Manjimup truffle pizza with artichokes and goats cheese catches our eye in particular! The pumpkin gnocchi has also been said to melt in your mouth. Overlooking the Indian ocean, this restaurant is in a beautiful spot in North Freo with sweeping views of Leighton Beach. Bib and Tucker makes a lovely family night out with its informal, relaxed atmosphere.

THE RAW KITCHEN

It seems like Freo is the hotspot for the best vegetarian eats this month! Located just next to the Fremantle markets, the Raw Kitchen has adopted an evolutionary concept exemplifying health and sustainability, while offering some seriously delicious vegetarian food. What makes this restaurant unique is that evident in its title, everything is raw! But before you judge, do yourself a favour and try the vegan nachos, followed by the choc beet cake. We promise this vegetarian restaurant won’t disappoint!

FLORA AND FAUNA

Get your phones out because there isn’t one thing from Flora and Fauna you won’t want to take a photo of for your Insta story! Each dish is beautifully presented, equally as delicious and vegetarian of course. Best for breakfast or brunch, we recommend visiting this gorgeous little café tucked away on Aberdeen St in Northbridge. We think the breakfast burrito is a winner, or the Canadian style French toast if you have more of a sweet tooth!

THE PROPHET

It’s easy to have eyes bigger than your stomach when you see The Prophet’s abundance of delicious Lebanese vegetarian options. The traditional hummus, chickpea falafel and fatoush salad are our menu favourites. Its home-style ambience and good atmosphere make The Prophet a perfect place for casual dinner with friends. We suggest sharing a few items on the menu so that you can try a bit of everything!

CO-OP DINING

You may want to unbutton your jeans in preparation for a degustation feast. Co-op dining offers a 5 to 10-course vegetarian tasting menu inspired by regional foraged foods. The fresh local ingredients used behind the kitchen make every mouthful full of flavour. We hear the handmade organic tofu with smoked broccoli is a winner from the main course menu… and the mini jacket potatoes with ricotta are a must! Co-op dining is the place to enjoy a fine dining experience for your next special occasion.

THE HUMMUS CLUB

Grab your friends and veg out at the hummus club this weekend! This restaurant is a vibey and pumping place to have a few drinks and socialise over some seriously good food. Feast on some fried cauliflower, try the falafel salad and dip some bread into some silky-smooth hummus. Located in northbridge, you don’t have to go far to experience the tastes and culture of the Middle East. Eat, drink and enjoy… in hummus we trust!

VEGGIE MAMA

This café has just about every burger pattie any vegetarian could dream of. Italian, bean and beetroot, mushroom and walnut, chickpea and sweet potato, broccoli and pine nut are just some of the fresh daily pattie combinations. Veggie Mama is the best place to get your weekend burger fix! Absolutely everything on the menu is vegetarian and even meat-lovers will go crazy for their flavoursome curries. Head here any time of the day for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

CHAKRA RESTAURANT

With a regular menu and an entire vegetarian only menu, everyone will be spoilt for choice when visiting Chakra restaurant. The traditional Indian curries with vegetarian adaptations such as ‘Butter Paneer’, ‘Panner Tikki Masala’ and ‘Vegetable Korma’ are said to be amazing. The vegetarian menu also has a variety of entrees and mains such as Soy Drumsticks, Malai Kofta and Burnt Aubergine. With a modern twist on flavours, this is not your ordinary Indian eat out! We highly encourage a visit to Chakra Restaurant on Beaufort St, Inglewood.

GORENG GORENG

This little Asian restaurant is Mount Lawley’s hidden gem. Everything is cooked fresh at Goreng Goreng and the serving sizes are huge for what you pay, so come hungry! Choose your own vegetarian loaded noodles or rice with the option of tofu and feast on some crispy spring rolls and tempura vegetables to start. Goreng Goreng is a great casual dining restaurant to enjoy a tasty Asian fusion dinner.
