Perth Brunch Lovers: May Street Larder to Open Northside

It’s time to rejoice Northside brunch lovers! One of East Freo’s favourite brunch spots, May Street Larder is opening a second location at The Mezz in Mount Hawthorn.

The May Street Larder team are taking over Academy Cafe space (sad face we know but don’t worry, they’re still open in Claremont) in the Mezz and opening up shop on Friday 15 March.

Co-owner Eamon Sullivan, a local to the area says “I know firsthand how great the community in Mount Hawthorn and North Perth is and I feel that May Street Larder has a lot to contribute.”

Those that have frequented the original May Street Larder will know what to expect on the menu including the some our favourites like the breakfast burrito, beef brisket hash, vegan bircher and their infamous fried chicken and waffle soul sandwich. In the cabinet you can expect to find fresh salads, gourmet sandwiches and house-made sausage rolls and pies. And when it comes to coffee they’ll be serving up Campos Coffee, oh and they’ll be  licensed too, hooray!

Their new spot will also feature an extended larder range with lots of house-made jams, preserves and pickles. The space will also have a kids play area, so the little ones will be occupied while you enjoy your morning coffee, double hooray!

The new May Street Larder will be open seven days. Check out their new Instagram for updates.
