Oktoberbest Perth 2019 Guide

It’s that time of year again, time to sport your lederhosen or dirndl and get pumped for Oktoberfest Perth 2019. There’ll be great German beer, bratwurst, dancing and a ton of fun entertainment. Who doesn’t love a bit of wood chopping and stein holding?! Prost!

Oktoberfest in the Gardens

This is one Australia’s biggest and best Oktoberfest celebrations across Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide! You’ll find a Bavarian-inspired festival and great beer in the heart of the Perth CBD at Langley Park. Oktoberfest in the Gardens Perth features two massive big top beer halls, authentic German food stalls, roving performers, sideshow alley, silent disco, dodgeball arena, a wood chopping demonstration and an eclectic mix of entertainment and competitions across multiple stages throughout the afternoon and evening.

Elmar’s In The Valley Oktoberfest

This celebratory Bavarian festival can now be enjoyed by the whole family! Elmar’s in the Valley welcomes kids to their Oktoberfest Family Day event on the 13th of October. Elmar’s is transforming their space into a Biergarten and is putting on live music and some German-inspired games. Traditional Marzen beer will be flowing and you will be able to stuff yourself silly with Bratwurst and other authentic German food! Grab a ticket for the family and head to the heart of the Swan Valley for a day of entertainment and fun.

Oktoberfest at the Rhein-Donau Club

Now if you want something really authentic then you have to make your way to the German, Austrian and Swiss Club of WA – The Rhein Donau Club. This is the biggest celebration of their calendar year and they sure know how to raise their steins and party. You’ll find lots of German music, an array of German beers and other famous German bevys (Jaegermeister goes down a treat after a big schnitzel!), as well as authentic German food and lots of entertainment. The club celebrates Oktoberfest every Friday and Saturday night in October and is a bargain with tickets only $25 for non-members, but you’ll have to get in early as they sell out every year.

Oktoberfest at Ascot Racecourse

A brand new Oktoberfest event is now on the Ascot Racing Carnival calendar, will host Perth’s largest Beer Hall, a lot and we mean a lot of German food, live entertainment and complimentary steins. So time to swap your suits for your lederhosen and your fascinator for your dirndls!

Oktoberfest at The Globe

The Globe, in the heart of Perth CBD is bringing you a taste of Bavaria with two weeks of full of bier, schnitzel and sauerkraut. Lederhosen optional. Some of our menu picks include the Currywurst – a German hot dog, bratwurst sausage with curry ketchup, grilled onions, hand-cut chips and pickle or you can’t go wrong with the pork belly with crispy crackle, dark ale jus, sauerkraut and creamy mash.
