As we are just starting out we wanted to let you know that contribution submissions are sent with the full knowledge that there is currently no payment for being published. Our aim is to get your work out there to be seen, heard and loved. We’re all about supporting our community and spreading the local love. So with that in mind feel free to get in contact with us if you’d like to be part of the Perth Pop story. Also, please note that we don’t publish every submission that is sent to us.

WRITERS
We’re always interested in getting passionate writers on board to contribute. If that means you, please get in touch at hello@perthpop.com. The subject line should read “Writer Submission”.
Make sure you include:
- A piece of your work
- Your area(s) of interest
- A pitch for your submission, if you have one
- Your website and social media handles, so we can credit you.
PHOTOGRAPHERS
We love great imagery at Perth Pop. If you’d like us to consider featuring your work, please get in touch at hello@perthpop.com. We’re always looking for talented photographers to capture our beautiful city with shots of events, new eateries, retailers, art exhibitions, festivals and more.
The subject line should read “Photographer Submission”.
Make sure you include:
- A link to your portfolio
- Your area(s) of interest
- Your website and social media handles, so we can credit you.
INTERNS
If you’d like to be part of the Perth Pop journey and gain hands-on experience, we’d love to hear from you.
Our internships are part-time (one or two days per week) for 12 weeks.

- Your resume
- One or two relevant writing samples
- One feature article pitch, and an explanation of why it would be a good fit for Perth Pop.
