WA Beer and Beef Festival

Beer and beef have been a backyard Aussie tradition for years… and how rude it would be not to celebrate the iconic pair.

This festival isn’t offering just your average Bunnings snag… You’re in for some gourmet tucker! Made from the freshest local WA produce, the best beef chefs in WA are providing the goods… you can delve into slow cooked meats, Texas style brisket, smoked sausage, beer can chicken, smoked steak, brioche rolls and more.

You can’t break the inseparable due, so match your meal with whichever beer your tastebuds desire. Sit back and enjoy a hoppy IPA, an ice cold export, craft beer or quench thirsting cider!

Bring your family along and make a day out of the carnival rides, live music and entertainment while appreciating great beer and great beef.

You can snag a ticket that includes a 10 drink tasting card for only $33.70 and taste any beer or cider from the hundreds available! You can even take beer school classes to learn (and taste) everything you would want to know about great amber ale.

Bonjour Perth – French Festival

Qui! There indeed is a French festival coming to Perth, with all of the food, the wine and the fashion of France. The French community and friends of Perth will be coming together for a fantastique celebration of French art, food, wine and culture.

Historical French artists have been some of the most influential figures of modern art, so of course French art must be celebrated at this Festival! Wander through the exhibitions and vote for the your favourite. If you get the chance to, make sure you watch the live painters! You will be in awe at their talent.

If you’re a lover of French food, there will also be a Mediterranean Village pop up where you can experience a typical southern French Market. And of course, what’s a celebration of all things French without appreciating the variety of top French wines…

If the art and food didn’t convince you, well maybe this will. There is also a French bulldog parade! Little frenchies will parade on the Rustic Village Stage in some absolutely adorable outfits. This dazzling weekend is being held at market square in Subiaco and tickets are only $5 if you purchase online. On se voit la-bas!

Habitat Garden Party

Festi season is on the horizon and Perth has been lucky enough to host a number of summer gigs with epic linkups of international and local artists.

One mini festival we are excited about is Habitat Garden Party that is taking place in aa pretty cool location…Nestled in a deep forested valley, you can enter a wold of wonders and surround yourself amongst the magical gardens of the Araluen Botanic Park. Headlining the festival are the renouned THE PRESETS, along with SOLARDO, WEISS and more…

There are still some third release tickets available and a number of bus tickets leaving from different locations… So get your outfits ready and join the thousands of Perth festival heads at this boutique festival that will be this years soiree of the summer!

PrideFEST 2019

This year’s PrideFEST is set to be a wild celebration 30 years of Pride in WA! This energetic festival is the pinnacle of the Pride calender and will highlight what the organisation has achieved for the LGBT community.

The event we’re most looking forward to is the Pride Parade! Roads will be closed off and people from all around WA will join to watch the loud, bright and passionate demonstrations, from the 100 entries this year. You will not want to miss the spectating this fabulous display of pride.

In addition to the Pride Parade, Fairday will be another fantastic event, opening the PrideFEST for 2019. There will be LGBT artists, allies and supporters as well as some delicious food and fun entertainment.

Celebrate the 30th anniversary of the WA PrideFEST and enjoy the colourful, vibrant atmosphere while supporting this year’s theme “Reflect; love, heroes, community & identity”.

Perth International Jazz Festival

Jazz up your week with the sounds of some upbeat trumpet and double basses, or sit back and relax to some smooth saxophone and slow piano. This Jazz Festival is the perfect excuse to take a break during the week for a glass of wine and enjoy some groovy melodies.

No matter what style of Jazz you like, there are an array of performances to choose from this year. The line-up this year include the renowned names of Veronica Swift, Roscoe James Irwin, Fumio Itabashi Orchestra, Metrio, Ben Winkelman Trio, Tal Cohen Quartet and more.

The Festival runs over three days at The State Theatre Centre, Perth Cultural Precinct and The Ellington Jazz Club and tickets start from $10. Make sure to buy yours before they sell out!

CarribbFest

BeerFest

It’s almost summertime which, in Australia, usually means getting together with friends, cranking up some tunes and having great banter over an ice cold beer while watching the sunset. Well, you can do that and more this November at the ultimate BeerFest in Freemantle!

Headlining the live entertainment for this festival are Aussie legends, Drapht and Art vs Science who are set to create an energetic vibe. This year, organisers are cranking it up a notch by adding to the list of beers and ciders available, showcasing a large collection of the top flavoursome brews. You will be spoilt for choice with over 40 beverages available!

So end your week off right and get down to the Esplanade Park in Freo, smash a pint with friends and enjoy Aussie music for a good time.

Rotary Jacaranda Festival

Applecross will welcome back this one day extravaganza of family fun, food and entertainment this November! The much-loved festival is back better than ever this year with a bustling gourmet food village, unique line-up of entertainment and variety of arts stalls.

If you want to take your little ones for a special day out, there will be an abundance of fun filled activities for the kids. The Fun Bus will be rolling up along with an appearance from the communities beloved animal farm and there will also be bouncy castles and face painting.
