6 things to eat, see and do at this year’s Crab Fest

Mandurah’s foreshore will come to life this March with all things seafood! The Crab fest will be held on the weekend of the 18-19th of March and will be jam packed with food stalls and trucks, entertainment, demos and some amazing dining experiences.

Check out some great things to eat, see and do at this year’s fest!

Crab Boil

Time to put on your bibs and get your hands dirty! Inspired by the big crab boil’s of America’s Deep South, you can expect crabs, prawns, mussels, clams, sweet corn, potatoes and smoky sausage in a delicious sauce overlooking the marina waters.

Food Stalls and Trucks

To us, this is the heart and soul of the festival, local food vendors come together to showcase and celebrate the local produce. You’ll find heaps of amazing vendors all serving up their take on the amazing blue manner crab. Check out some of the vendors here.

Dinner Under the Stars with Fervor

A unique pop-up dining experience showcasing fresh ingredients, with a focus on locally sourced produce to creating an unforgettable food experience. You’ll sit down at a long table,  eight-course degustation featuring local ingredients as well as hearing from Aboriginal Elders, who share their history and stories with guests.

The event is BYO, so bring your fave vino!

Progressive Dinner Cruise

Cruise through Mandurah’s stunning waterways and enjoy a mouth-watering progressive dinner from some of Mandurah’s finest restaurants.

Ski Show

So 80’s but so awesome. Mandurah’s signature waterways will come alive with action-packed displays of water acrobatics. Head to the Eastern Foreshore to catch all the action.

Shows on all weekend. Free.

High Tea Under the Fig Tree

Mandurah’s beautiful Moreton Bay fig trees will become the setting for two high tea sessions at this year’s festival, with champers on arrival and all the delicious locally-made sweet and savoury treats you can possibly eat.
Saturday March 18 and Sunday March 19, 2pm–4pm, Point Peninsular, Tickets are $70 and available here.
